KW Asheville Habitat House
| At Keller Williams, we not only help our clients, we help the community. In addition to the $25,000 we raised for charity at our annual Fashion Victims Ball, we are contributing 32 volunteer days and $55,000 to construct a brand new, four-bedroom house for the de la Paz family. If you would like to volunteer, you can help us build this house or volunteer directly at Asheville Habitat. |

The de la Paz Family
Ground BreakingLeaders and a volunteer crew from Keller Williams Realty joined the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity staff at a groundbreaking for a new Habitat House at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20 at the Habitat Enka Hills Subdivision. Future Habitat homeowner, Samuel de la Paz was present at the gold-shovel groundbreaking ceremony and publicly thanked all for making his family's dream a reality. Volunteers from Keller Williams will contribute 32 volunteer days to the construction effort. They are also in the process of raising $55,000 towards the construction of the house.

The Keller Williams Professionals sponsored house will be home to the de la Paz family. Samuel and Maria Concepcíon de la Paz currently live with their three children in a crowded 2-bedroom apartment in West Asheville. Mold and mildew on the walls, baseboards, and windows have affected their youngest son’s health. Samuel works at a local Mexican restaurant, while Maria cleans houses. The proud parents display the many awards their children have received. They believe a Habitat home will give their children a better future, more space, and the opportunity to live in a safe community.
